The Harmony is an adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s short story, The Lottery, set in a not-so-distant dystopian society where digital surveillance and censorship have created an atmosphere of violence. In a world where the internet is policed either by the government through mandated lynching rituals or by the military through targeted mob assassinations, we follow the lives of two families through the eyes of two six-year old children whose normalcy and childhood innocence is uprooted by the violence of their reality crashing down upon them.

planet verse, sound design

In this piece, I aim to take you on an abstract journey into the depths of a planet. Through swirling patterns, dynamic textures, and evolving shapes, I depict the layers of this otherworldly realm. The color palette transitions from bright surface hues to darker, more mysterious tones, simulating a deep dive. Smooth, continuous motion enhances the sensation of descent, creating an immersive experience. The accompanying ambient audio, with synthesized sounds and echoing effects, evolves in sync with the visuals, heightening the immersion. This piece invites personal interpretation, offering a unique, thought-provoking exploration of an alien world.
